POLICY WHITE PAPER : The Policy and Research Directorate of the Rescue Ogun 2027 Campaign has published its comprehensive healthcare delivery framework, titled "Health at Your Doorstep: The 236-Ward Solar Clinic Model."
Chief Fayoyin observed that over 70% of maternal mortality and child emergency casualties in Ogun State occur due to the lack of functional 24-hour primary health centers in agrarian and peri-urban wards.
"A pregnant mother in an agrarian ward should not have to travel 35 kilometers on a motorcycle in labor because her local clinic has no electricity or doctor. Our administration will install 24/7 off-grid solar power systems in every ward PHC, stock essential subsidized drugs, and introduce a statewide rural ambulance dispatch system," Fayoyin emphasized.
The policy document also details welfare incentives for medical personnel deployed to rural communities, including subsidized housing and accelerated career advancement allowances.
